Dear Montessori Family,
I hope your family is enjoying all the fun that summer has to
offer!
Remember that Montessori values family time and family
activities over "homework" and summer is a great time to squeeze in
some of those activities. Visit a local museum, attend a concert,
hike around a state park and look for signs of erosion. There are
so many things to do to keep your child excited about learning.
After all, as Dr. Montessori so eloquently questioned, "why learn
about trees from a text book when you live in a world full of
trees?" Get out and help your child explore the world this
summer!
We're looking forward to seeing everyone in August!
Sincerely,
 |
